We Hit It Off, But Then There Seemed To Be A Drop. Must I Provide It With An Attempt?

  • by

Reader Question:

There so is this man I knew as I was a student in center and high school. We started talking once again about 2 years ago (several years had passed away). I then found out his wife committed committing suicide and left him by yourself with his children.

We seemed to strike it well, then again there clearly was a decline. We went back and out observe him several times, but in my opinion there was a strain while we live in various states.

We ended chatting for about a month or two. Today he’s disclosed to me he was contemplating a relationship beside me but was not certain.

Do I need to provide it with a trial?

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Response:

Dear Ann,

You really need to have an attempt only if you are prepared to possess a commitment together with young ones, also.

Dating parents is actually a very severe company. And, frankly, the youngsters’ psychological wellness is the most essential thing here.

In case your cardiovascular system is big enough to embrace this widower and his grieving young ones, then I say do it.
